Forty ambassadors from different countries greeted Torsboda Industrial Park on Tuesday. One of them was Angeline Musili. She is Kenya's ambassador and has lived in Stockholm for a year.

“It was exciting to hear about what you are doing here and I have learned a lot today. Sweden and Kenya have a long-standing friendship and there are always reasons to cooperate in the world, Angeline Musili said.

The visit was part of a study trip in Västernorrland hosted by County Governor Carin Jämtin in cooperation with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. During the hour with us, Fredrik Gisselman from Region Västernorrland told us about the county's green transition and Christian Söderberg described Torsboda Industrial Park and the benefits of our part of the country.

“It was nice to have the opportunity to tell about our venture and our conditions to many in the foreign diplomatic corps in Sweden. We work internationally and are happy to take the opportunity to showcase Torsboda,” said Christian Söderberg, CEO of Torsboda Industrial Park.

“Through the visit, we strengthen the image of Västernorrland abroad,” said Carin Jämtin, County Governor. We create an understanding of Swedish society and establish contacts between us and other parts of the world.

Petter Lundqvist new Chief Operating Officer

Update of sales plan, budget and strategy

Persistence and making maximum use of the unique advantages of the site are examples of what Torsboda Industrial Park should prioritize in sales work. The Board of Directors has updated the company's strategic direction and the CEO is now working on a revised budget adapted to new conditions.

The agreement with PTL is now closed — work on new establishments continues

Torsboda Industrial Park and PTL have concluded the agreement signed by the parties in 2023 for the transfer of land for an industrial establishment. Torsboda Industrial Park is thus continuing to work with other stakeholders but at the same time has the window open for an anode factory in some form.
